Equestrian Venues in North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire is a county-scale riding destination. The Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks provide bridleway networks across some of England's most open and least-trafficked countryside, limestone dale country, heather moorland and the dramatic coast near Robin Hood's Bay and Whitby. Competition riders are well-served: the Yorkshire Riding Centre near Harrogate is home to GB High Performance Dressage Coach Christopher Bartle, and the county has an established affiliated dressage and jumping circuit centred on Harrogate, Northallerton and Pickering. The Vale of York provides flat hacking country in contrast to the moors and dales. Venues range from residential training centres to moorland trekking operations.
