Aintree International Equestrian Centre sits within the grounds of the famous Aintree Racecourse and was purpose-built in 2007 to provide a dedicated equestrian venue in the North West. The main arena offers 3,700 square metres of competition space with a premier sand surface, and the centre holds BHS Approved status. British Showjumping and British Dressage affiliated competitions run most weekends and mid-week, with summer showing classes adding further variety, one of the most active affiliated competition calendars in the region. BHS North West training camps bring Senior Accredited Coaches to the centre for flatwork, polework, and jumping sessions, and riders at these camps have the exceptional opportunity to work on Aintree's famous racecourse gallops. Free parking, excellent accessibility, and the wider Aintree infrastructure make this one of the most professionally equipped equestrian facilities in Merseyside.

Boots with a small heel, riding boots, walking boots or wellies all work. Trainers and flat-soled shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.
Close-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes. Shoulders and legs must be covered, no vest tops or shorts. Jackets and coats should be fastened securely. Waterproofs are recommended for outdoor lessons.
Long hair should be tied back in a ponytail before putting on your helmet. All jewellery must be removed before riding.
Clients arriving in unsuitable clothing or footwear may not be permitted to ride, for their own safety. If in doubt, contact the yard before your visit.
