About this yard

Cardiff Riding School is the only local authority-operated equestrian centre in Wales, run under the Cardiff Parks and Countryside service. The centre holds BHS approval and is also affiliated with the Riding for the Disabled Association, making it one of the most inclusive venues in the country. Lessons run for children from age three and for adults of all abilities, including those with physical and learning disabilities. The yard operates an indoor school and outdoor arena to provide year-round tuition, and the city location makes it accessible to a wide catchment without the need to travel into the surrounding countryside. Pony rides and introductory sessions are available for the very youngest children.
