About this yard

Founded in 1977 and relocated to its current purpose-built site in 1998, Eccleston Equestrian Centre is one of Lancashire's most established equestrian facilities, with stabling for up to 40 horses and ponies across 23 acres of grazing. As a BHS Approved Training and Assessment Centre, the centre delivers the full BHS pathway from Ride Safe and Challenge Awards through to Stages 1–4, with formal assessments held on-site throughout the year. The 22×60m indoor arena has a large seating area for parents watching junior lessons, while a 20×40m outdoor arena provides fine-weather schooling space. Lecture rooms, a horse walker, cafe, shower block, and clean toilet facilities support both recreational riders and those pursuing BHS qualifications.
