Errislannan Manor is a quintessential 18th-century Connemara estate near Clifden, specialising in breeding and training the world-famous Connemara pony. Visitors can ride out across the estate and surrounding Connemara landscape on the home-bred ponies, and learn about the history of the breed in its native landscape.
A heritage destination for anyone interested in the Connemara pony as a breed, with strong appeal to international riders making a pilgrimage to the breed's home territory.
Pricing
Connemara Pony Stud since 1960, owner Mrs Stephanie Brooks. Treks charged hourly Mon-Fri mornings. Residential pony camps for children (max 6 children/week, each gets own pony, accommodation with local families - no on-site lodging). Bitless ponies. 220-acre estate, gardens open daily under RHSI Gardens for Charity scheme.

Riding boots or sturdy boots with a small heel.
Close-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes. Shoulders and legs must be covered, no vest tops or shorts. Jackets and coats should be fastened securely. Waterproofs are recommended for outdoor lessons.
Long hair should be tied back in a ponytail before putting on your helmet. All jewellery must be removed before riding.
Clients arriving in unsuitable clothing or footwear may not be permitted to ride, for their own safety. If in doubt, contact the yard before your visit.
