Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Equestrian Centre
About this yard
Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Equestrian Centre (NNWEC) is a registered charity with a heritage stretching back to 1979 and a core mission of delivering transformative equestrian activity for disabled riders. Both BHS Approved and ABRS+ Approved, the centre accepts referrals from Leicestershire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, and Staffordshire, and currently serves over 100 disabled adults, children, and young people each week through its eight-horse herd. Activities range from fully assisted riding and therapeutic horsemanship, benefiting riders managing ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, and communication disorders, through to group and private lessons for novice and advanced able-bodied riders. Pony Club activities, Own-a-Pony Days, Pony Stars sessions, and Changing Lives Through Horses programmes broaden the offer. The site includes an indoor arena, community cafe, shop, picnic area, wildlife area, and community space available for hire.
