About this yard

Urchinwood Manor Riding and Event Centre is a BHS-approved facility set in the North Somerset countryside near Shipham, with views across to the Mendip Hills. The centre offers a comprehensive facilities package: a covered indoor school, a large outdoor arena and a cross-country course across the surrounding farmland. One of its distinguishing features is a programme of sidesaddle tuition, a relatively rare offering outside specialist venues. As well as conventional flatwork and jumping, the centre hosts training days, clinics and unaffiliated competitions, and the event capability extends to venue hire for private competitions and training groups.
