About this yard

Kim's holds a five-star animal activity licence from St Albans District Council, one of the clearest independent quality marks available to a British riding school. Set within a gated, secure yard surrounded by open countryside, the hacking track winds through adjacent fields and woodland, offering a safe off-road ride for all levels. The DIY livery runs to the same exacting standards as the riding school, with large, well-maintained stables and ample grazing. Safety is taken seriously throughout: the school follows current protective headgear requirements and has people living on site year-round.

Footwear

Boots with a small heel, riding boots, walking boots or wellies all work. Trainers and flat-soled shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.
