About this yard

Middleton Park Equestrian Centre is a registered charity and RDA-approved facility in south Leeds, dedicated to bringing the therapeutic and sporting benefits of horses to riders of all abilities. The centre is fully wheelchair-accessible, with a mounting ramp and hoist, and its 23 horses and ponies are managed by specialist instructors who tailor every session to individual needs, whether a first encounter with a horse or working toward competition dressage. Three arenas provide year-round all-weather capacity: two covered indoor schools (20×60m and 20×40m) alongside an outdoor arena. Beyond mounted riding, the programme includes carriage driving for wheelchair users who cannot ride, pony days, and hacking. As a BHS Approved Centre licensed by Leeds City Council, Middleton Park is one of the flagship inclusive equestrian venues in the North of England.
